My Journey in Jakarta - KOPI KOTAKU + Simple OOTD

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog! Long time no write (what kind of phrase is this lol). I want to put a good cafe review in Jakarta for some people who want to explore more about Jakarta and more good cafe to visit with your clients / business partner / family / your partner / yourself. I went to this cute cafe after I got a recommendation from my other friend from her social media. I really love to visit cute or aesthetically pleasing cafe. Even tho, I am not an aesthetic person or tumblr addict. I just easily getting bored with same place.

I usually grab my coffee in Starbucks which is nothing special. Everyone in this world knows Starbucks and I couldn't take good photo inside Starbucks because ... Starbucks interiors are all the same all over Indonesia. I don't know about the other country. I ever visited Starbucks in Thailand and their stores just the same as others. 

So let's get straight to the point about this cafe called KOPI KOTAKU. 

Interior and Concept:

They use Japanese minimalistic as their cafe theme. I am not knowing much about the art of coffee in Japan or Japanese related things, I just love the place because it's clean, simple, and a great place to take some pictures for your instagram feed or your own collection. Also the price is quite affordable, way cheaper than Starbucks. 

Food and Beverages:

I ordered Matcha or Green Tea Latte and my second drink was Coffee Milk or well known as Kopi Susu in Bahasa Indonesia. Also a single salted egg / cheese (I don't remember much) croissant. My friend also ordered Vanilla Latte and one cup of Kopi Susu. You can search on ZOMATO phone app about the menu and the price details. I couldn't write one by one all their menu here. 

Services:

Everyone who helped me and my friend with order is nice. Quick service and I have no complain. Wi-fi access is quite fast as well.

Beauty Review : Catrice DELUXE Glow Highlighter 010 The Glowrious Three





Hello guys, I am back with another beauty product review. This is my first time trying a highlighter palette or highlighter product in general from Catrice. Honestly I am not a fan of using highlighter, that's the reason why I am so picky with highlighter. Once I hate, I probably never want to use it again. Because what's the point using highlighter that has nothing to do on my skin right?

Let's come back and talk about this product!

Positive Points:
  1. Price is affordable. [I am pretty picky with price on makeup. Sometimes I spend more for high quality makeup, but not every time I will spend $50+ only for one product lately. I have some other things that I need]
  2. Compact packaging and it doesn't look "too cheap" as drugstore makeup.
  3. These 3 colors are great in every kind of skin tone in my thought. Because this product is suitable for makeup beginners who don't know much about where to apply highlighter and the real function of highlighter.
  4. You can see pretty much all details about this product at the back of the packaging. Also guide picture for makeup beginner.
  5. Travel friendly, you can carry on inside your makeup bag or traveling pouch. It's not heavy and you will get 3 colors in one palette.
  6. If you like less highlight pigmentation and really like "no makeup" makeup, probably you will love this!
Negative Points:
  1. I really want to try to love this product with all my heart. But I can't. The pigmentation is not really there. If you see from the swatches, you definitely can see 3 colors from this palette... it is because I am swatching those colors more than once. Unless you are pretty patient, you can reapply over and over again on your face until you see the highlight color pops out.
  2. The formula is not creamy and too powdery. Somehow it makes this product a little bit chalky.

Beauty Review : Innisfree Mineral Shading No.02 (Swatch on Hand & Face)





Hello guys! Welcome back again to my blog. Recently I am being into blogging and shopping. Shopping some beauty products and happy trying those one by one. I actually want to try this mineral shading from Korean Brand called Innisfree since long time ago. Because I am sticking with my current shading or contour powder from elf.... I started to think to search another product that I might love.

Here it is, the Innisfree Mineral Shading in No.02. For this series, Innisfree also produced some blushed and some variety colors of shading / bronzer / contour powder. Mostly are natural colors and wearable for your daily makeup. If you are a pro makeup artist and not into natural makeup / k-beauty this product might be not your cup of tea. But for me, I love korean makeup and I love natural makeup. My boyfriend also compliment my makeup everytime I use this mineral shading on my face.

By the way this is not sponsored by Innisfree Indonesia, but I do wish Innisfree Indonesia approach me tho. lol. Because I am being a loyal customer of Innisfree. Everytime I go back to Korea, Innisfree store is always on my travel list as must visit beauty store.

Let's go talking about Positive and Negative points!

Positive:
  1. Natural result.
  2. Affordable price. Around $8
  3. Multipurpose item. It can be used as eyeshadow, shading/bronzer for your nose and also other parts of your face without feeling too much.
  4. Travel friendly.
  5. Minimalist packaging and you can see directly what color it is.
  6. 70% mineral or less chemical than usual makeup product.

Negative:

  1. Natural result, it can be because it has less pigmentation. Back to your own makeup preference.
  2. Packaging is plastic, quite fragile. Basically you get for what you paid for.

My Journey to South Korea - LIVING IN SOUTH KOREA Youtube Series / Vlog (Episode 7-8)

Finally new vlogs are here! 
I have a youtube series called LIVING IN SOUTH KOREA. Make sure, all of you are subscribing to my youtube channel and hit the "bell" logo to get notification from my channel every time I uploaded.
In episode 7, I went to several places such as K-Star Road, SM ENTERTAINMENT, FNC ENTERTAINMENT, JYP ENTERTAINMENT, SM COEX, Gangnam Underground Shopping, and many more. I didn't upload enough clips about entertainments building that I visited with my friends, but you can see my photos in front of it on my instagram!

Meanwhile, in episode 8... I am showing more details about YG Entertainment building. When I saw some trainees of YG and took some glances on the amazing building. Definitely worth to watch and those videos are all less than 10 minutes long.

Beauty Review : Purbasari HI-MATTE Lip Cream Hydra Series (All Colors)

Hello guys, I am on my Christmas and New Year holiday now. By the way, Merry Christmas and happy a joyful holiday with your closest ones. Meanwhile I am not doing anything special today, I will write my honest review about Purbasari HI-MATTE Lip Cream Hydra Series that I got from a drugstore called "Watsons". Pretty much is a famous drug store in South East Asia, especially in Indonesia and Singapore. They are selling medicines until drug store makeups or any other random cute products in a great deal.

Comeback to the point about this brand, Purbasari. Purbasari is a Indonesian local brand. I already knew this brand since I was a little kid. But back then Purbasari only produced skin care or body care products. In the past 2 years, they have been developing some new cosmetic products which is so surprising because THEY ARE DOING FINE. WELL DONE AND GOOD JOB PURBASARI.

I am writing this post not based on any collaboration or endorsement contract. But I tried their products. I use their body scrub / lulur mandi while I am taking shower, tried their matte lipsticks, and now I am trying all of their recent lip cream named HI-MATTE Lip Cream Hydra Series. I got all of these on holiday season and watsons offer me a good discount. THANKS WATSONS LOL.

Okay, let's put on review!

Positive:
  1. Packaging looks fancy meanwhile the price is so budget friendly ($5 each)
  2. Pigmentation = buildable for all colors.
  3. Magically all of these colors are suitable for all skin types and skin colors. If you have lighter or darker skin, you all are safe!
  4. It doesn't have any weird smell or any perfume in it.
  5. Applicator is not too big, it helps us for apply easier on our lips.
  6. Travel friendly!
  7. DRY LIPS? NO PROBLEM! These are not going to make your lips dry after application. But make sure you take care of your lips before application by using lip balm or lip scrub. Do not blame the product if your rusty lips are the real problem! lol
Negative:
  1. It's not kissproof or waterproof.
  2. Sadly they only offer 5 colors for a moment. (Personally, I don't put on a hate about this point, but might be some people want more colors in the future.)
My favorites are No. 2 Azalea, No. 3 Lantana, and No. 5 Freesia. This package is a great idea for birthday gift or christmas gift for your beloved ones.
