My Journey to Thailand - Hungry Nerd Restaurant x AIESEC Chulalongkorn University Sawasdee 19 Farewell Event

A new blog post about my life in Thailand. I really save all of these photos just in case I miss them. That's true. I miss all of them and our moments together in Thailand. We met and knew each other from this project. It's amazing to think about it. I never regret my decision to joined this project in early 2016. Need months preparation before exactly went to Thailand.

There are out farewell pictures with several fellas from Sawasdee 19 Project with AIESEC Chulalongkorn University. It has been a pleasure for me to work with them. AIESEC Chulalongkorn University hold a farewell event in Hungry Nerd Restaurant in Siam area, Bangkok. I really do love this restaurant and I even me and several of my friends went there again on the next day.

We ordered one big size portion meal called The Jumbo Mixed Platter. It was around 399 baht only or Rp 150.000,- (in Indonesian Rupiah). It was enough for 4 people. For drinks, I ordered Ice lemon tea and my 3 other friends ordered fresh watermelon juice. Plus, one of my friend requested extra sunnyside egg.

This Jumbo Mixed Platter consists of beef, chicken, and pork. If you are muslim (same as my 3 other friends here), you can basically request to change or maybe put the pork in different plate (as you can see on the picture above). Well, but please do not be too picky or request too much because it will be weird for them. Just tell them nicely that you are muslim and not allowed to eat pork. They will try to understand. Because in Thailand there are some people who can't eat pork as well or even beef based on what they believe in.

So there are my overal reviews*) :
  • About the place is not quite big, but it's still comfortable to seat in. Interior and hype are so instagram-able. If you want to take several photos with your friends or take photos about their food, everything comes out nicely.
  • About the price = affordable. Quite nice and so many young people go there, especially students in university.
  • Foods and drinks are all good. Taste are good, guaranteed!
How to go here?

I hope, you drop a visit there if you visit Siam Area. You basically can go by BTS (train system in Bangkok), drop off at BTS Ratchathewi Station Exit 2.

My Journey to South Korea - Watching K-Live Hologram Concert and How to?

(Schedule in September 2016, probably some changes happen for now!)

During my stay in Seoul, South Korea, I really want to try to watch uncommon show. Even tho that we have hologram technology as well in Indonesia, I never experience any hologram concert before. That's the reason why I tried K-Live Hologram Concert. I was watching K-Pop Experience Hologram Concert (PSY and BIGBANG) at 15:10 PM and BIGBANG SPECIAL Hologram Concert (G-Dragon) at  18:00 PM.

Where is K-Live?
K-Live is being located in Lotte Fitin Mall, 9Floor.
Lotte Fitin Address : 21-31 Euljiro 6(yuk)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea. (Next to Dongdaemun Design Plaza)
Google Map Directions : Click here!

How to buy?
  1. Go straight to their official website, click here!
  2. Make sure, you read "About K-Live" first before you buy your ticket!
  3. Check the most recent "Time Table" or schedule! (K-Live is closed every monday!)
  4. Click "Ticket Reservation" sign
  5. You will go directly to "Interpark" ticket website.
  6. Select date and time, based on the Time Table that you choose.
  7. Click "Buy Ticket"
  8. You will go directly to another pop up window from your browser. Choose the same date and time and then click next.
  9. Choose "Online Booking Discount" (because you are buying your tickets online) and put how many tickets that you need. Click next!
  10. Click "Pick Up at Venue" option for your ticket.
  11. Fill in all your details confirmation (email, name, etc.)
  12. Finish it with payment (I use credit card to buy my tickets).
  13. You will get email confirmation!
  14. Print and bring the confirmation email for exchange purpose at the cashier / information desk at 9 Floor.

I don't have any single footage inside the venue because i can't record anything. So many guards around me. If you are curious about Klive Hologram Concert, I have the trailer down here (0:20). But I really suggest do not watch the unofficial record from youtube because you are not going to support the artist's hard work for recording entire scenes for hologram concert. Please do appreciate!

If you are lucky like me, you are going to get more FREE TICKETS and having scene together with your idol in hologram form!

This is my story :
During my second show which was G-DRAGON (BIGBANG Special Hologram Concert at 6 PM, I was so lucky. I was being chosen as GD's girlfriend. The staff came to me. She was guarding me to the corner of the stage and there was a public telephone box. The phone was ringing and I should pick up the call.
Suddenly my body's copied version went to in front of the stage and G-Dragon started to serenading his love for me. It was so funny that I could see my own body in hologram together with G-Dragon. He sang "WHO YOU?" and I got a fake kiss scene with him. I was awkwardly dancing like a stupid fan girl.
All of my friends were laughing on me because I was so freakin nervous. It was only his hologram, I can't imagine if I do that in real life tho. It will be insane (fan girling alert). I am just kidding guys, it's just for fun. After I finished my scene, I got a gift sign. I could exchange that at the cashier / information desk for 2 free tickets to watch the next hologram concert.

Don't you guys want to try to watch Hologram Concert live in Seoul, South Korea? It's every kpop fans' dream. If you live in Singapore, you also can visit K-Live Hologram Concert in Sentosa.

xoxo,
Margaret

Margareta Vania x BinusTV - Saturday Morning Show (Web Show at Vidio.com)

(COMING SOON ON : www.vidio.com/users/binustv)

Hello everyone! Welcome back again to my blog. Lately, I share a lot of things about my featured moments with several media companies. I am feeling so grateful because in the past 4 months, so many of you guys (especially from several media companies) contacted me to do something interesting. This time, I am going to share with you about my featured moment collaborated with BinusTV for a show called "Saturday Morning Show". I experienced before a collaboration show with BinusTV for Outfit of the day theme youtube show.

This show is different and it's way more like a sit down, chill web talkshow. This show is basically for people who are 17+, because somehow those guys are saying flirty jokes in front of camera to make this show way more interesting. I want to say sorry first, because I looked like shit in that frame. lol. Pretty much, I couldn't laugh freely because I was feeling a bit sick and tired. When I was participating in that show, I just went straight to the studio after I was done with my work "teaching korean language" in Pondok Indah area (quite far from the studio). Could you imagine that?

They interviewed me about my social media accounts, about my followers, photo concepts, we talked about my postings, and played a game. They also asked my opinion about LGBT and it was pretty awkward because I am totally fine with LGBT. Do not get me wrong here guys, I am not saying that it's a "good thing" because I was born in a pretty religious family. But hey, it's their decisions tho and nothing wrong if you love your partner either with the same gender or the opposite gender. That's just my thought. Because I work in fashion industry and already meet so many people in this society, I am getting used to see my friends who are being included in LGBT community. At least, they are not bothering me... I am fine with it.

I feel just a little bit sad, because the topic was turning out to talk about LGBT rather than my life or my job. I hope that they can focusing in someone's great achievements and make some fresh jokes rather than bring any sensitive topics to online media. It was a pretty awkward moment for me when they asked "do you ever dream to be a lesbian or like your own girl friend?". Like what the heck? I answered, "no. I never ever think about it." Suddenly our conversation was dead already.

How do you think about it?
